If I were the rain
Often when people age their voice looses clarity. Rosalie Sorrels seems to have escaped this course on her elegant path of aging. In class I was not expecting to be so touched by her performance. I might have gotten a bit teary when she sang Utah Phillip's song If I could be the rain. This was a song Rosalie was born to sing, and I could listen to it forever. It was one of those songs, that Kate McCloud explained as a song that could prevail through time. It was not a song Utah Phillips sang often, but it strongly influenced one of his greatest influences. I feel so honored to have heard her play it and I thought it should be apart of Utah's blogg.
