Hearing Duncan talk about riding the trains around America reminded me of one of the tracks I really like from Utah/Ani Difranco's album "The Past Didn't Go Anyway", the track Bum on the Rod. I never really understood what it was talking about until our discussion. Th song also talks about the changes that have taken place, how the people who are riding the tracks aren't like they used to be.
